I always look forward to coming to Hawkesyard Hall whether
its for a wedding or a wedding fayre as it is such a nice setting and on a day
like today with the sun doing its best and not a cloud in the sky you couldn’t
hope for more.
When I got to Hawkesyard Hall Katie and the girls were busy with
hair and makeup in the bridal suite, along with more than a few glasses of
bubbly. Katie had seemed quite calm when we met on the pre wedding meeting but
if there was a Picture Box Awards ceremony at the end of the year I think Katie
may be a nominee for “The most excited Bride on the day”. Adam on the other
hand was definitely one of the most nervous grooms that I have met.
Although being nervous Adam remained composed as the
bridesmaids and an emotional and tearful Katie entered the ceremony room. After
a short ceremony without anymore tears from Katie it was off outside to enjoy
the gardens and a bit of welcome sunshine. Some of the guests simply relaxed
with a drink, whilst the others amused themselves with a game of oversized
Jenga. Mr & Mrs Fullagar headed off down into the gardens for some photos.
Hawkesyard Hall is great as there are so many bits that can be used for photos.
As much as I could have carried on photographing Katie and
Adam it was time to head down to the reception. Mandy from Make My WeddingSpecial had done a great job on the ceremony room but it has to be said that
she had done a fabulous job on the reception room, colourful is an
understatement. Room shots done, cake shots done and it was time for me to
leave. A big thank you to all of Katie
& Adam and all their family and friends for making the day enjoyable, and a
big thank you as well to Andrew and all the staff at Hawkesyard Hall I’m looking
forward to the next wedding there.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Fullagar.
