Off to The Moat House for todays wedding, and with quick
visit to Neil and his best man for some shots of them getting ready. Got the
shots done but somehow Neil ended up looking like a groom from the waist up but
still like a surfer with his shorts and flip flops on. No such casual dress
with Katie and the girls when I got to their room. Hair had been done and it
was time for makeup, before time to get their dresses on and not a pair of
shorts or flip flops in sight. By the time Neil needed to be ready for the
ceremony the shorts and flip flops had gone and he was now dress for the
occasion, and was relaxed I don’t think anything would have stressed him today
as he waited for Katie. Who looked stunning along with the bridesmaids as she
made her way in to the ceremony room.
Most weddings never run on time there is
always something that doesn’t go according to plan and means you have to have
one eye on what is going on and the other on your watch. Today was not a
wedding like that it ran like clockwork and to be honest most of the time we
were ahead of schedule thanks to Katie and Neil’s planning and a group of
guests who just got the small family photos done in record time and then
relaxed in the picturesque surrounding of The Moat House, with a well deserved
drink, before heading inside to the Hawaii themed room for the wedding
breakfast and speeches, and yes there
was a ‘Book em Danno’ and a ‘Magnum PI’ table.
I would just like to say thank you to all of Katie and Neil’s
family and friends for making me feel welcome, and a big thank you to Katie and
Neil for choosing Picture Box as their photographer.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Swann
