Tillie and Rhys at St Mary & St Luke, Shareshill and Calf Heath Village Hall. 7th May 2016.
I first met Tillie and Rhys at Tillie’s sister’s wedding
three years ago at Shareshill church, although it doesn’t seem that long ago. So back at Shareshill church again, the sun was
shining, and there were a few familiar faces among the guests as they arrived.
Rhys arrived with the rumble of V8 engine inside the Dukesof Hazard Dodge Charger that took him and best man Chris to the church, and
then had to take him to go and get the button holes he had forgotten. Whether
this was just an excuse to get another ride in the Charger or not we will never
know.
Tillie on the other hand arrive with a bit more elegance
in an Austin Princess Limousine from Platinum Wedding Cars, and looking stunning
in her dress. She then proceeded to walk down the aisle to music from Lord of
The Rings. During the ceremony most brides seem to either nervous and sometimes
a little self conscious, Tillie however was not nervous and had the biggest
smile you have ever seen. I can’t remember the music that the new Mr and Mrs
Jones left the church to but Tillie continues to smile all the way down the
aisle and out the door of the church.
A few family shots, and some of Tillie and Rhys before
some of Tillie’s horse, there seems to be a theme on weddings this year as that
is the second wedding with a horse, let’s see how many more I can do before the
end of the year.
Off to Calf Heath Village Hall decorated in bunting and
vintage cups and plates for the wedding breakfast and a few speeches. The
evening started with a Tillie and Rhys’s first dance then a bit of Cèilidh from the Reel Hot Ceilidh Peppers that
got nearly all of the guests up dancing, and our Photo Guest Book.

for making me feel welcome.
