Steph and Matthew at Our Lady of Assumption, Maryvale and The Fairlawns Hotel Aldridge. 28th March 2015.

Steph and Matthew were a bit nervous about having their photos taking leading up to the wedding so we went for a Pre Wedding PhotoShoot to Aston Hall a few weeks before the big day. On the day though there didn’t seem to be any nerves. 

Matthew and the lads turned up fitted out in suits from Kevin Paul in Hednesford but didn’t hang around outside the church just enough time for some pics as it was bitterly cold and windy. Steph arrived in style in an Austin Princess Vanden Plas Limousine from Platinum Cars, and again a few pics in the wind was enough for us all before heading in for the ceremony.

Once the ceremony was over it was back out into the wind but not for long as it was too much for us all. If Steph had stayed out in the wind much longer I think she probably would have lost her veil. So it was off to The Fairlawns for photos, drinks and some shelter from the wind. The Fairlawns is a lovely setting for guests to relax and take it easy before heading in for the wedding breakfast.

Despite the wind Steph and Matthew enjoyed their special day.

Lynn and James at St Johns Church Essington and The Barns Hotel Cannock 14th March 2015

I got to St John’s Church just in time to catch James and the lads heading off to the pub for I’m sure was only a coke, and they were back in plenty of time for some quick photos. Lynn arrived on time in style in a Diamler limousine from PlatinumWedding Cars in Hednesford. Some quick photos and it was in for the ceremony and some warmth as it was bitterly cold outside.

The ceremony went without any problems, and after signing of the register it was time for confetti and some photos of Lynn and James by the door of the church. Instead of heading straight off to The Barns Hotel there was a quick stop off on Cannock Chase for some photos of the new Mr & Mrs Barlow.

The Barns seems like it’s going to be a regular for me this year, second wedding of the year and I’m back here again, which isn’t a problem as it’s always nice to see some familiar faces and there is never any pressure from the venue on me as a photographer to rush through the photos. So despite it being a bit cold today I think everybody had a great time.

Kerstin and Mark at The Barns Hotel Cannock 28th February 2015.

The first wedding of 2015 for Picture Box and I’m back at The Barns Hotel in Cannock. I had been looking forward to Kerstin and Mark’s wedding as when I was going through the details of the day at the pre-wedding meeting Kerstin had mentioned that there was going to be skulls in the flowers and cake. Mark seemed relaxed and calm before the ceremony, but we won’t mention the nerves that kicked in during the ceremony and not being able to simply repeat what the Registrar was saying.

Despite being a bit chilly but this didn’t stop anyone from joining in on photos and the bride and groom that had previously insisted that they didn’t like photos were soon posing and enjoying themselves. By the time the evening was in full flow Kerstin was still in posing mode with friends and family for the Photo Guest Book.

First wedding and Photo Guest Book of the year done without any hiccups and it was time to head home when just to make the reception bit different it wasn’t the usual wedding standards that were coming from the dance floor but instead it was Metallica.

Steph and Matthew Pre Wedding Photo Shoot at Aston Hall, Birmingham. 21st Feb 2015

A few pics from this weekends Pre Wedding Shoot. It was a bit chilly at Aston Hall when I arrived but the sun eventually came out and Steph and Matthew seemed relaxed posing for a few photos and as their big day is only four weeks away now I don't think there will be too many nerves on the big day when I point a camera at them.
