Julia and Michael at Oak Farm Hotel, Cannock 16^th April 2017. Today’s wedding had been planned down to the smallest detail by Julia’s mum Norma, and run like clockwork as always at Oak Farm. So here’s a few photos from their big day.

Nicola and Nicholas at St Michaels & All Angels Church, Penkridge and The Moat House, Acton Trussell. 10th Feb 2017

Today was a day where it still felt like the middle of winter with it trying to snow a couple of times but then the sun would come out and it seemed like spring was on its way. Nicolas seemed relaxed when he arrived at the church with his best man in suits from Kevin Paul, and the colour theme for the day was definitely orange with ties, handkerchiefs and button holes all orange. Not to be out done when Nicola arrived in the vintage Morris from PlatinumWedding Cars her flowers had an orange theme to them but when she stepped out of the car. Nicola had white Adidas trainers on with bright orange laces and orange socks, now in all the years that I have been doing weddings that is a first. Ceremony over and it was off to the Moat House for some quick photos as it started to snow just when i had Nicola and Nicolas posed for a photo on the far side of the lake pretty much as far from the door of the venue as possible. Still they didn't seem to mind too much.

Amie and Philip at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Hednesford and Hawkesyard Hall Estate, Rugeley. 23^rd December 2016.

Amie and Philip were originally going to have their ceremony at Hawkesyard Hall but decided to change the venue for the ceremony and the time. The church they moved it to is a great church for photos, it has an almost gothic feel to it on the outside but even of a cold and dull day like today it is always bright and colourful to photograph, and with the heaters on is was lovely and ward. As for time well anyone getting married in December be careful of your times, don’t get married too late as you won’t have much time for your photos. Not a problem today as I had planned exactly what I was going to do today and kept an eye on the light as well as photographing Amie and Philip. The other thing in my favor was the venue for their reception, Hawkesyard Hall Estate. It is a great venue irrespective of the weather or time of day there are some great photo opportunities inside so I managed to get all the photos that I wanted and even had time later to try some new ideas.
