Jade and Mark at Hawkesyard Hall Estate, 2nd August 2014.

It seemed so long since I first met Jade and Mark at their friends wedding and then they booked me almost three years ago. In that time Hawkesyard Hall has changed a bit as well, no need to take the walk over to the golf club now just down through the trees to the new function suite.

The day started dull with a bit of rain but with a great venue, groom turning up in a stunning Maserati (from Platinum Cars), suit from Kevin Paul, the bride arriving in style in a vintage Morris 18 (again from Platinum Cars) and looking stunning in her dress from Mix n Match, the day was getting better all the time.

Ceremony went without any tears or fluffed lines from the groom, and Jade smiled from ear to ear all the way through. By the time the ceremony and some small family photos were done the sun decided to come out and the guests made the most of the beautiful gardens and a drink from the Orangery. While I took Jade and Mark off for a few photos. There is always a battle that you have at venues like Hawkesyard where there is so much that you can photograph and with a couple like Jade and Mark who I think would have been willing to spend all day being photographed, the battle with time was soon running out. Not to worry though as I was staying for the evening and a PhotoGuest Book so there was some extra time to head back off into the gardens to get some more pics.

I think today will definitely be a wedding that I will not forget for a long time, and I’m sure all the guests will feel the same. I’d like to give a big thank you to  Jade, Mark and all their family and friends for making me feel welcome.

Emma and Adam at Pendrell Hall, Codsal Wood 24th July 2014.

What a lovely sunny day to be back again at Pendrell Hall for Emma and Adam’s big day. When I got to Pendrell Hall the girls were busy having their hair and makeup done in the cottage but it wasn’t long before they all headed across to the bridal suite to get their dresses on.

The lads turned up a little late but, in style arriving in a limo. So after a few quick pics of the lads it was time for Adam to head off inside to wait for Emma’s big entrance.

The ceremony over and it was time for the guests to celebrate and have a few drinks in the gardens  while I took a few photos of Emma and Adam. The grounds at Pendrell hall definitely have more than enough opportunities for some great photos, and great for guests to relax with a drink before the formalities of speeches and first dance.

With a great venue, beautiful weather, and a great couple today will definitely be a day their friends and family will remember.

Fran and Richard at Alrewas Hayes Events, Alrewas, Stafford 4th July 2014.

I first met Fran & Richard a few years ago at Fran’s sister Claire’s wedding a few years so I knew that today was not going to be a wedding that was quiet and reserved instead I had the feeling that I would be on the end of  a few insults and there was going to be a few laughs, and yes I was correct, most of it from Fran herself. It was a bit cloudy when I got to Alrewas Hayes Events but it was definitely going to be a warm day. That was good as Alrewas is a nice venue with some good spots for photos. 

When I got to the bridal suite it was a hive of activity with hair and makeup being done, dresses hanging of the beams, a few pairs of shoes on the floor, but it was nice to see a few familiar faces  from Claire’s wedding. 

Richard and the lads were all there on time which makes a change, (there’s normally one usher who is late) dressed is some of Kevin Paul's best suits. A few quick pics and then it was time For Richard to see the Registrar before a quick drink, Dutch courage maybe but I don’t think he was really nervous at all.

Once all the guests had arrived and were seated it was time for Fran and the girls to make their way into the ceremony. The guests were able to get a quick peek at Fran in her dress from White Rose in Rugeley as she walked with the girls across the courtyard. I don’t think Fran stopped smiling and giggling all the way through the ceremony, but there were no tears or fluffed lines insight. Ceremony over and it was time for some family photos and a few drinks as the sun had finally come out.

After the wedding breakfast it was time for a few quick speeches, flowers for the mums and thank you gifts to give out before the real partying could begin. The evening celebration continued, with not only the first dance, but was highlighted by the Kovac’s appreciation of Meat Loaf.

Its always nice to see some familiar faces at weddings and have guests that make you feel welcome, so I’d just like to say a big thank you to all of Fran and Richard’s family and friends for making me feel welcome and maybe I’ll see some of them again in the future.
