Sandwell Registry Office have done a some work since the last time that I had to photograph a wedding here. There’s now a pavilion and some flower beds for photos, and as there was no other weddings this afternoon we had the place to ourselves. Despite it being a bit chilly and the light was dropping we still made the most of the grounds. So here are a few photos from today’s wedding.

It’s been a few years since Picture Box has had to photograph a wedding at St Anne’s and not much has changed since then, there’s even the same car and driver from Platinum Cars that I had on the last wedding here. So here are a few shots from Rachel and Marks wedding.

Picture Box has only been to Christ Church, Gentleshaw a couple of times and its one of a handful of churches that still have plenty of grounds to do some family photos before the guests head off to the reception and then vanish into the bar.

The sun was shinning today even though it was a bit chilly and damp on the ground, but this didn’t seem to bother any of the guests as they arrived. I think Chris was a bit nervous though as they arrived, but I’m sure he did his best to stay calm as he waited for Rachel to arrive, and when she did it was in style in one of the Austins from Platinum Cars, and looked stunning in a dress from Rebecca Elizabeth in Brownhills. The ceremony went without any tears from either Rachel or Chris, and then it was staright out into the grounds for few family shots and then we all headed off to Rodbaston Hall.

Its also been a while since Picture Box has been to Rodbaston Hall for a wedding. As a photographer there is nothing better than turning up at a venue with a list of where you want to photograph and yet still find a few bits of unexpected inspiration from the venue, and the ground at Rodbaston  Hall are great just a we didn’t get to a visit from the peacocks. Still everyone had a good day and congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Hansen.
