I’ve know Nicky and Emma for a few years now after doing a couple of family weddings and some family portraits so I was expecting today to be a little bit more relaxed than most weddings, and to see a few faces that I knew from those other weddings. There are some weddings that you do where you feel more like one of the guests rather than your working, and this was one of them. A big thanks to all of Nicky and Emma’s friends and family for making me feel welcome to their big day.

Sandwell Registry Office have done a some work since the last time that I had to photograph a wedding here. There’s now a pavilion and some flower beds for photos, and as there was no other weddings this afternoon we had the place to ourselves. Despite it being a bit chilly and the light was dropping we still made the most of the grounds. So here are a few photos from today’s wedding.

Picture Box haven’t been at Cannock Registry Office for years, then two weddings in the space of a month. It was a bit chaotic when I got to the Registry Office as there was another wedding just coming out and the car park was full. When we came out however we had the gardens to ourselves. Got some nice shots of Donna and Steven before heading off to Bridgtown Social for a much needed drink, it was a hot afternoon.

It’s been quite sometime since I have been to CannockRegistry Office to photograph a wedding. It was a quite day today as we were the only wedding here this morning. Jason and his best man Simon were dressed smartly as you would expect with suits from Kevin Paul in Hednesford. Tina arrived in style in Daisy from Platinum Wedding Cars, and looked great in her dress from Sheena Shaw in Hednesford.
