Today was a typical June day for a wedding, the sun was shining and it looked like a good day for photos.

Lads prep first at The Mount and then it was off to the Hayley and the girls at her mum’s. All seemed relaxed with the girls as they got ready to head to the church.

I have done weddings before at St Michael's and there have been no problems but today there was a wedding on before Hayley and Sean’s and I don’t know if the church hadn’t allowed enough time or they were just running late but it was chaos trying to find a parking space and as Hayley and Sean’s guests turned up in an old Routemaster the previous wedding were still taking photos.

Luckily by the time Hayley had arrived the chaos had settled down and the cars from Greyhound in Wolverhampton could pull in without any problems.

And that was pretty much how the rest of the day went, without any problems and the guests seem to enjoy themselves with a few drinks as they relaxed in the gardens at The Mount Hotel whist we did a few photos.

So here are a few shots from Hayley and Sean’s big day.

An early start for today’s wedding but the sun was shining when I left Great Wyrley so I knew it was going to be a good day, and Blakelands has some great areas for photos.

All seemed to be going according to plan, hair and makeup done, Sophie and the girls were dressed so I did a few shots of Sophie ready to leave and then I headed off to the church. When I got there it was a bit quiet and Mark was nowhere to be seen so I headed off to the pub where the guests were parking their cars and Mark and the best man were completely unaware of the time enjoying a drink with the guests. So I got him to head over to the church, I wasn’t going to be the one that told Sophie to just go round the block as the groom hasn’t turned up yet.

Despite Mark’s time keeping, Sophie arrived with the girls and the ceremony went ahead on time. Ceremony over with no mistakes on the vows and no tears from Mark it was out and down to the gate for some confetti before the guests headed back off to Blakelands for a drink while Sophie and Mark had a few photos by the church door. These photos done we all headed off to Blakelands, now I know that it’s not that far from the church in a car but when you have a suit on and it’s a warm day it is a bit of a walk, so I couldn’t just drive past some of the guests that did think it would be a good idea to walk.

Once at Blakelands and a few drinks had been enjoyed by the guests in the grounds, it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches which went without any awkward moments, no jokes about even the cake being in tears.

Despite if finally raining on the night, Sophie and Mark looked stunning and had a great day, the guests all enjoyed themselves. So a big thank you to Sophie and Mark for letting me be a part of their big day.
