Here are a few photos from Gemma and Adams wedding at St Nicholas Church. Not done a wedding here before but it is one of those churches that is tucked down a country lane and if you didn’t know where it was you probably wouldn’t find it. Good job all the guests knew where to head, and got there without any problems. Unlike Adam who had a puncture apparently so was a little late, but was still there before the bridesmaids and Gemma arrived in Herbie from Elite Wedding Car Hire

Ceremony done and it was outside for the confetti and car photos before heading off to The School House in Weeford for a well deserved drink (the guests not me) and  some photos of Gemma and Adam down by the river and bridge. I like the way that at The School House you can take the Bride and Groom down the steps to the river for photos where it’s a bit quieter but the guests can still see what’s going on.

Couldn’t keep the chef waiting any longer, so it was inside for the wedding breakfast. Not before the speeches. Russell the best man was not looking forward to this point, as the day progressed he was getting more and more nervous about this point, but he pulled it off with a few laughs from the guests and more than a few shocked expressions from Adam.

I've known Adam for some years but always as Adam from Blaze Disco so it made a change to see him out from behind his DJ equipment and all dressed up for the day. Vicki however I've only got to know over the last year or so since they asked me to photograph their special day.

The weather was perfect and the so was the newly refurbished The School House, the lads all looked smart in their suits from Jon Paul, the girls looked great and Vicki looked stunning in her dress from Treasure the Day, finished off with flowers from Lynn at Fine Flowers.

It was a great day with only one little hiccup, Dan (Vicki's brother) had to run off in the middle of  the ceremony as he forgot to pick up his reading much to everyone's amusement, the magician Matthew Stirling was a genius and amazed everyone even with his arm in a sling and topped off by Adam's speech and song, yes song. He sang Your Song by Elton John to finish his speech, don't think the best man knew how to follow that. This is definitely one wedding that I along with everybody else will remember for a long time.
