Newlife Charity Santa Dash 16th December 2013

It may have been a bit cold and windy but it didn’t stop a big bunch of Santas including Aiden Burley MP coming out for Newlife’s Santa Dash, and with Cannock Chase Drum Corps no one was going to miss the Santas as they crossed the finish line before heading to Bank Bar for a bit of warmth and I’m sure a quick refreshment.

Over the years I’ve done weddings where there has been a couple of the guests that I have met before, Claire and Craig’s big day was one however where there was more than just a few familiar faces. The day started with the lads turning up at The Park House Hotel smartly dressed in suits from Peter Posh, and without any nerves at all. Claire looked stunning in her dress from Cindy Belles in Brownhills, excited but a little nervous. After a short ceremony it was off into the gardens for photos. I had to work quickly as there was a few clouds gathering in the sky, but as it turned out I got them done just as a few drops of rain fell but only a few before the sun came out. Wedding breakfast done and time for the speeches, and a bit of micky taking for Craig buy his best man Simon and courtesy of a pizza and few cans of lager. Once again the guests had a bit of fun with our PhotoGuest Book, and the day was topped off with Claire and Craig’s first dance.

Thanks to all the familiar faces that made the day fun, and congratulation to Claire and Craig the new Mr & Mrs Waring.

Zoe and Nigel at All Saints Church Bloxwich and Oak Farm Hotel Cannock 28th September 2013.

Last week I was at a new venue, this week it was back to a church that I did loads of weddings at when first started all those years ago, and a hotel which has become a firm favourite. Nigel and the lads had their suits from Duncan James and I think they must have left a big gap in the shop as there were twelve lads in suits. Zoe on the other hand only had three bridesmaids and one flower girl. Zoe and the girls all looked stunning in dresses from TheWedding House. The ceremony went by without any incidents and was a relaxed service which I’m sure helped them with any nerves they may have had. After the ceremony it was on to the grass for some family shots, confetti, and some bride and groom photos. All Saints has got a nice big arched door which is great for pics. Before long it was time for Zoe and Nigel to get in the car and head up to Oak Farm for their wedding breakfast, a few drinks and lots of dancing on the night.

Carrie-Ann and Lee at Fairlawns Hotel and Spa, Aldridge, 21st September 2013.

I got to the Fairlawns Hotel to start photographing the bridal preparation and I think that the bridesmaids were more excited than the bride about the day. Carrie-Ann seemed relaxed about it all if not a little nervous. Lee on the other hand I think was definitely more than a bit nervous. Still they both managed not to let the nerves get the better of them.  Along with all of their guests they enjoyed a great day and had some fun on the evening with the Photo Guest Book.
