Jennifer and Mike at Oak Farm Hotel, Cannock 17th May 2014

Picture Box at Oak Farm Hotel for a wedding, I’ve lost count how many weddings I have done here over the years that I have been photographing weddings. Still it is a nice venue, and on a day like today with the sun shining the guests will be relaxing having a drink in the front garden. When I arrived that is exactly what they were doing, so a few quick shots of Mike and the lads before they had to go into the ceremony room to see the Registrar. Jennifer arrived on time and in style in a Morris 18, as you would expect driven by John from Platinum Wedding Cars. Again a few quick photos and it was in so Jennifer could see the Registrar as well. The ceremony was straight forward no mistakes and no tears from Jennifer or Mike, then off outside. A few family shots then it was time for the guests to take it easy with a much needed cold drink while I got some nice shots of the new MR & Mrs Taylor.

Claire and Craig at The Park House Hotel, Shifnal. 4th October 2013

Over the years I’ve done weddings where there has been a couple of the guests that I have met before, Claire and Craig’s big day was one however where there was more than just a few familiar faces. The day started with the lads turning up at The Park House Hotel smartly dressed in suits from Peter Posh, and without any nerves at all. Claire looked stunning in her dress from Cindy Belles in Brownhills, excited but a little nervous. After a short ceremony it was off into the gardens for photos. I had to work quickly as there was a few clouds gathering in the sky, but as it turned out I got them done just as a few drops of rain fell but only a few before the sun came out. Wedding breakfast done and time for the speeches, and a bit of micky taking for Craig buy his best man Simon and courtesy of a pizza and few cans of lager. Once again the guests had a bit of fun with our PhotoGuest Book, and the day was topped off with Claire and Craig’s first dance.

Thanks to all the familiar faces that made the day fun, and congratulation to Claire and Craig the new Mr & Mrs Waring.

Sam and Ross at The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall Wood, 20th July 2013

Despite Ross’s pre wedding accident it didn’t seem to affect him on his big day. Then with the lads he’d chosen as his best man and ushers they weren’t going to let it. Sam seemed completely calm as she prepared, and as for Jess, well she just laughed at everything and anything. 

Once at The Mount the lads didn’t let up, as they continued to playing each other up. Ross although quietly nervous remained calm as Sam was escorted the gardens at The Mount by her proud Dad on a lovely sunny day. As for Jess she let the emotion of the ceremony get the better of her and stopped laughing for a short while for some tears.

Sam and Ross’s guest couldn’t have had a nicer day and location to take it easy and have a drink while we got a few shots of bride and groom, before the evening reception.

Before the evening reception and Photo Guest Book Sam and Ross headed out into the gardens to have a quick practice for their first dance.
