It was an early start for today’s wedding, 9.30 at Samantha J Wells in Rugeley for hair and make up. Rebecca seemed quite relaxed as her make up was being done by Jo Goulding even though the hairdresser’s was busy with all the bridesmaids. Luckily though by the time we all got back to mum’s house even the bridesmaids seemed to calm down.

I met the groom and the lads at the church as Gareth pulled up in style and with a bit of volume from the Maserati driven by Paul from Vroom 4 the Groom. Gareth seemed pretty relaxed which whenever I’ve met him he seems to be. Not to be out done Rebecca also turned up in style but also with elegance in an Austin Princess Limousine from Platinum Wedding Cars in Hednesford. Rebecca and the girls all looked stunning in dresses from Katie’sBrides in Heath Hayes, the colour of the bridesmaids dresses definitely brightened up the day.

After the ceremony and some small family photos we headed off over the road to the Old Chancel for some more relaxed photos with just Rebecca and Gareth, before it was time to make our way to Oak Farm Hotel Cannock for the wedding breakfast.

Once at the Oak Farm there was time for a quick practice of the first dance by the oak trees, before making Rebecca and Gareth made their way inside for a relaxed meal and speeches.

We were kept busy with all the guests getting involved in another Photo Guest Book.

Lindsey and Ian got married in Mauritius, but decided to celebrate their marriage with a party for friends and family at Fishley Park Golf Club. After a few family group photos outside they headed in for the party and to record the comments and best wishes from everyone they booked our Photo Guest Book. To go with the best wishes, photos were also taken some relaxed and some just daft (thanks lads).

Bit a vintage theme for today’s wedding at The Barns Hotel in Cannock, but I know Kate has made sure there’s quite a bit of bling going on as well. Peter and the lads arrived in style and with some volume from the Maserati Coupe Cabiocorsa from Platinum Wedding Cars. Not to be out done Kate arrived in an Austin Princess Vanden Plas also from PlatinumWedding Cars, and was dressed in a Roland Joyce dress from The Wedding Parlour. I think the day went according to plan apart from Kate’s daughter needing a bit of support for her reading during the ceremony, nobody got injured in the fight when Kate threw her bouquet, and everyone enjoyed the ice cream from Vitalianos. It was a warm day and it was much needed.

Philip & Nathan at Oak Farm Hotel, 4th August 2013

How typical of a British summer sunny one day and raining the next, not that this seemed dampen Nathan and Philips’s or their guest’s enthusiasm for the big day.  With all their family and friends gathered at Oak Farm for their civil partnership ceremony I think the nerves may have just crept in a bit but by the end of the brief ceremony the nerves had gone, and so had the rain.  Ceremony over and Nathan and Philip started to relax and look forward to married life together, but not before a few drinks, and some fun with the Photo Guest Book on the evening.

Congratulations to Philip and Nathan the new Mr & Mr Moore-Jones.

Lucy and Lee at All Saints Church, Darlaston and The Mount Hotel , Tettenhall 3rd August 2013.

I first met Lucy when I photographed her sister Sally’s wedding almost two years ago, at All Saints Church in Darlaston. Lee and the lads arrived looking smart in their suits from Peter Posh, but hot in the sunshine that had come out for the day, don’t think we will have any problems getting to the reception, and a cold drink.

Lucy and the girls arrived in style in a vintage Rolls Royce from Elegance Wedding Cars in Sutton. Lucy looked stunning in a dress from Mi Amor in Sutton, and was escorted by her proud dad Lucy in to the church. I like All Saints it’s a really bright and spacious church inside. The ceremony went to plan really, apart from Auntie’s reading. Hope someone got that on video but just make sure you give her half of the money from “You’ve Been Framed.”

The Mount Hotel is a lovely venue, and on a nice summers day It’s a great place to just sit back, relax with a cold drink in your hand and enjoy yourself. Unfortunately I couldn’t as I still had a few photos to do before Lucy and Lee had a quick rehearsal of their first dance and then off for their wedding breakfast.
