Sam and Ross at The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall Wood, 20th July 2013

Despite Ross’s pre wedding accident it didn’t seem to affect him on his big day. Then with the lads he’d chosen as his best man and ushers they weren’t going to let it. Sam seemed completely calm as she prepared, and as for Jess, well she just laughed at everything and anything. 

Once at The Mount the lads didn’t let up, as they continued to playing each other up. Ross although quietly nervous remained calm as Sam was escorted the gardens at The Mount by her proud Dad on a lovely sunny day. As for Jess she let the emotion of the ceremony get the better of her and stopped laughing for a short while for some tears.

Sam and Ross’s guest couldn’t have had a nicer day and location to take it easy and have a drink while we got a few shots of bride and groom, before the evening reception.

Before the evening reception and Photo Guest Book Sam and Ross headed out into the gardens to have a quick practice for their first dance.

Donna and Steven at Cannock Registry Office and Bridgtown Social Club 12th July 2013

Picture Box haven’t been at Cannock Registry Office for years, then two weddings in the space of a month. It was a bit chaotic when I got to the Registry Office as there was another wedding just coming out and the car park was full. When we came out however we had the gardens to ourselves. Got some nice shots of Donna and Steven before heading off to Bridgtown Social for a much needed drink, it was a hot afternoon.

It’s been quite sometime since I have been to CannockRegistry Office to photograph a wedding. It was a quite day today as we were the only wedding here this morning. Jason and his best man Simon were dressed smartly as you would expect with suits from Kevin Paul in Hednesford. Tina arrived in style in Daisy from Platinum Wedding Cars, and looked great in her dress from Sheena Shaw in Hednesford.

Emma Louise & Wayne at Shareshill Village Church and Oak Farm Hotel, Hatherton 7^th June 2013

 What a glorious sunny day with clear blue sky for Emma and Wayne at Shareshill Church. Wayne turned up in the A-Team van with the theme music playing to announce his arrival. Emma’s arrival on the other hand was done in style in Daisy from Platinum Wedding Cars. Emma dressed in a vintage style dress from Charades and flowers from Fine Flowers. Most weddings only have one vicar, but to be different Emma and Wayne had two, and I have to say it was not the usual sermon but definitely one of the best I have heard. Ceremony over and Emma and Wayne walked down the aisle happily married and accompanied by music from Star Wars. Then it was off to Oak Farm Hotel Hatherton after a few photos and a much needed drink, it was time to relax and enjoy the evening with a Photo Guest Book. Along with all the guests, Picture Box spent a great day, with a great couple.

Charlotte and Kevin at Hilton Hall, Essington and The Barns Hotel, Huntington 1st June 2013.

This is the first wedding for Picture Box at Hilton Hall. Ironic really as it’s one of the closest venues to us. Charlotte and Kevin had a great setting for their wedding. As the guests arrived the sun came out, and eventually Kevin turned up a bit late but he got there before Charlotte arrived on time as you would expect with Platinum Wedding Cars from Hednesford. She looked stunning, in her dress from Curio Bridal Boutique in Smethwick. After the ceremony it was into the grounds for some photos, and then a quick stop for a great photo opportunity at the old greenhouse that is a hidden treasure in the grounds. It was then off to The Barns Hotel for some drinks, great food, speeches and a night of dancing. Charlotte and Kevin had a great day for their wedding, it was a pleasure to be part of your special day, congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Varty.
