Philip & Nathan at Oak Farm Hotel, 4th August 2013

How typical of a British summer sunny one day and raining the next, not that this seemed dampen Nathan and Philips’s or their guest’s enthusiasm for the big day.  With all their family and friends gathered at Oak Farm for their civil partnership ceremony I think the nerves may have just crept in a bit but by the end of the brief ceremony the nerves had gone, and so had the rain.  Ceremony over and Nathan and Philip started to relax and look forward to married life together, but not before a few drinks, and some fun with the Photo Guest Book on the evening.

Congratulations to Philip and Nathan the new Mr & Mr Moore-Jones.

Lucy and Lee at All Saints Church, Darlaston and The Mount Hotel , Tettenhall 3rd August 2013.

I first met Lucy when I photographed her sister Sally’s wedding almost two years ago, at All Saints Church in Darlaston. Lee and the lads arrived looking smart in their suits from Peter Posh, but hot in the sunshine that had come out for the day, don’t think we will have any problems getting to the reception, and a cold drink.

Lucy and the girls arrived in style in a vintage Rolls Royce from Elegance Wedding Cars in Sutton. Lucy looked stunning in a dress from Mi Amor in Sutton, and was escorted by her proud dad Lucy in to the church. I like All Saints it’s a really bright and spacious church inside. The ceremony went to plan really, apart from Auntie’s reading. Hope someone got that on video but just make sure you give her half of the money from “You’ve Been Framed.”

The Mount Hotel is a lovely venue, and on a nice summers day It’s a great place to just sit back, relax with a cold drink in your hand and enjoy yourself. Unfortunately I couldn’t as I still had a few photos to do before Lucy and Lee had a quick rehearsal of their first dance and then off for their wedding breakfast.

Sam and Ross at The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall Wood, 20th July 2013

Despite Ross’s pre wedding accident it didn’t seem to affect him on his big day. Then with the lads he’d chosen as his best man and ushers they weren’t going to let it. Sam seemed completely calm as she prepared, and as for Jess, well she just laughed at everything and anything. 

Once at The Mount the lads didn’t let up, as they continued to playing each other up. Ross although quietly nervous remained calm as Sam was escorted the gardens at The Mount by her proud Dad on a lovely sunny day. As for Jess she let the emotion of the ceremony get the better of her and stopped laughing for a short while for some tears.

Sam and Ross’s guest couldn’t have had a nicer day and location to take it easy and have a drink while we got a few shots of bride and groom, before the evening reception.

Before the evening reception and Photo Guest Book Sam and Ross headed out into the gardens to have a quick practice for their first dance.

Donna and Steven at Cannock Registry Office and Bridgtown Social Club 12th July 2013

Picture Box haven’t been at Cannock Registry Office for years, then two weddings in the space of a month. It was a bit chaotic when I got to the Registry Office as there was another wedding just coming out and the car park was full. When we came out however we had the gardens to ourselves. Got some nice shots of Donna and Steven before heading off to Bridgtown Social for a much needed drink, it was a hot afternoon.
